We have officially started the Orchard Place Apartments project, located in Apple Valley, MN.
This project will consist of 135 total units, with 4 stories of wood over 1 level of Precast below grade. Totaling 211,640 square feet, the project has plenty of amenities for future residents, including a 4th floor sky lounge with exterior patio, golf simulator, sport court and dog park.
Welcome to Gateway Court Townhomes is a series of eight buildings, consisting of 43-units. There are five- 5-unit buildings and three- 6-unit buildings. Each townhome unit is designed with an attached two car garage, mechanical room, storage, living room with built-in electric fireplace and a personal gas grill. First level floor plan offers the main entry, kitchen, dining, and half bathroom on the main level. The second level floor plans offer three bedroom layouts, with closets, additional storage, washer/dryer and two full bathrooms. All units equipped with smart technologies including keyless entry, a video doorbell, a smart thermostat, and a smart garage door opener. The site has finally started to dry out which has got us in full swing for exterior work!
The parking lot curb and gutter are installed with the parking lot base going in. Siders have started to prep for their work.
MEPS are wrapping up the final rough ins that are being installed while the production sheet rock crews are in working hard on 2nd floor. Insulation is wrapping up blowing the floor trusses full and completing the wall insulation.

All Site Superintendent’s attended a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) training at HERC-U-Lift.
Learning about the importance of fundamentals, site specific hazards, how to operate elevated work platforms as well as rescue plans were included in this training. Thank you HERC-U-Lift for another successful training.

Another great event as always was put on by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota and North Dakota with Guest Speaker Hall of Fame Twin Joe Mauer.
We are proud to announce that one of our projects this year, The Plaza at Hazeltine earned and Eagle Award at the 2024 ABC Excellence in Construction Awards banquet this year. The prestigious award goes out to all the hands that were able to put this job together and make it happen. What a way to break into the new year with scoring this Eagle.
