All Site Superintendent’s attended a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) training at HERC-U-Lift.
Learning about the importance of fundamentals, site specific hazards, how to operate elevated work platforms as well as rescue plans were included in this training. Thank you HERC-U-Lift for another successful training.

Another great event as always was put on by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota and North Dakota with Guest Speaker Hall of Fame Twin Joe Mauer.
We are proud to announce that one of our projects this year, The Plaza at Hazeltine earned and Eagle Award at the 2024 ABC Excellence in Construction Awards banquet this year. The prestigious award goes out to all the hands that were able to put this job together and make it happen. What a way to break into the new year with scoring this Eagle.
Thank you to all the partnerships we have to continue to make these projects possible! It’s a great honor to watch the fellow ABC subcontractor members that were apart of this project to also receive accolades on stage.
As we approached this Holiday Season, Lyon Contracting and Trident Development reflected upon the many blessings we’ve experienced over the past year and to be thankful for them.
We had a great and amazing opportunity to give back and help others in need just by volunteering a couple of hours of our time.

On Thursday December 19th, with a small introduction from MATTER and what they are about and their mission, we assembled and boxed 800 snack packs.
These boxes were dropped off at IDS 742 and the Boys and Girls Club.
A fun activity for the our Team was planned on Friday November 22nd.
It was a beautiful day to enjoy a great pheasant hunt. The smiles in the photos say it all. From 1st time hunters to well advance hunters, it was a successful event.
Thanks to Gold Meadows Preserve for the great pheasants and even a couple of bonus Albino Pheasants.
Lyon Contracting, Inc. and Trident Development celebrated Christmas early this year! The celebration took place on Friday November 1st at the Xcel Energy Center watching the MN Wild take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Great game, great conversations, and the MN Wild winning the game 5-3!
